Unable to Change "Ask Now Assist for Help or Search" Placeholder Text in Now Assist Search

Hi Team,

I am trying to change the placeholder text "Ask Now Assist for help or search" in Now Assist Search.

I updated the placeholder value in the instance configuration, but the search bar is still showing the default text and my changes are not reflected.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there another configuration, message key, or alternative method to update the placeholder text?

Hi @namanajain, The widget does not support a placeholder override once Now Assist Search is enabled for the portal, that logic gets bypassed. The experience hands off to NowAssistDeploymentChannelHelper, which resolves its own deployment channel for the portal/experience type and renders the default placeholder text.
It's not a bug. I hope that helps.
