Please follow the steps for activating summarization for CSM portal, please check training material "Now assist for CSM " & lab guidance from now learning.
After following all steps if you face still issue in your customer instance or demo instance please create HI ticket to check OOB features.

HI @Kidambi
You should select the portals that your Virtual Agent is using because the chat summarization will pull data from those portals to summarize the conversations happening there. Keep in mind that the default product portal is always included and cannot be removed. Also, if a portal is already being used by another product, you won’t be able to select it again. So basically, pick the portals where your Virtual Agent is active to ensure the summary includes the right data.

I selected it but its giving still error
Unable to summarize chat. Now Assist isn't set up to process this request.

@Kidambi can you please share the error which you get?
Also, sometime turning it off and on again helps and in ServiceNow especially.
Only what goes on my mind - is it in the right scope when updating/saving?
