AI Search Analytics showing 0 Searchable Documents for “Now Assist in VA” profile

Hi Community,

We are configuring Now Assist with Enhanced Virtual Agent chat and are using the “Now Assist in VA” AI Search Profile.

Even though the profile is actively used and end users have performed searches via Virtual Agent , the AI Search Analytics dashboard still shows:

  • Searchable Documents: 0
  • Documents by Search Source: No data available

Observed Issue: Despite confirmed usage of Now Assist via Virtual Agent, AI Search Analytics does not populate any data, showing zero searchable documents and no source breakdown.

Questions:

  1. Are there any additional configurations required for AI Search Analytics to capture data for Now Assist + Enhanced Chat?
  2. Is there a specific setting or reindexing step required when using the Now Assist in VA search profile?
  3. Does Enhanced Chat use a different internal search flow that does not populate standard AI Search Analytics?
  4. Is this expected behavior or a known limitation?

Any guidance, validation steps, or known limitations would be greatly appreciated.
