I'm working on a use case and agent which searches for related knowledge articles and then generates a knowledge article if a related one isn't found.  When testing, it starts off well with the first step completing.  When it gets to the step to generate a knowledge article (using the Generate Knowledge Article Now Assist skill as the tool).  I get an error message (see below).  Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

So, I found the issue after some additional trouble shooting.  In the tool I created, the Now Assist Skill was blanked out.  It couldn't be edited so I had to create a new tool for the skill to be used and then removed the original.  The concern remains, why was the skill blanked out?

Hello Chris,

1. What is the error you see in sys_gen_ai_log_metadata table.

2. Can you also check if you see the agent record has the role details in agent proficiency table.

Thanks

Thanks for the hints!  I did find the root cause of the problem which I added as a separate reply.  Should have done more digging before opening this but maybe it will help others.

Is the Now Assist Skill blanked out in the back end record (sn_aia_tool)? Was it a custom Now Assist Skill?
