Dashboard Interactive Filters Not Applying to Multiple Tabs

I would like to confirm whether interactive filters in ServiceNow dashboards can be applied across multiple tabs. Currently, filters seem to work only within the same tab.

Is this expected platform behavior, or is there any configuration or workaround to enable cross-tab filtering?

In ServiceNow, interactive filters on dashboards only apply within the same tab — they don’t carry over across multiple tabs. That’s the way the platform is designed, so what you’re seeing is expected behavior.
If you want the same filter effect across tabs, the usual workaround is to add the same interactive filter to each tab separately. Some teams avoid multiple tabs altogether and instead build a single tab with sections, so one filter can drive all the widgets. Others use Performance Analytics widgets or custom filters for more flexibility, but even those won’t natively span tabs.
