Show target on SOW landing page for a KPI.

Hi All,

I am looking to get a target value to show in the SOW landing page. See the image below. However, despite setting a global target on this formula indicator, I am not able to get this target to show. I have reached out to SN support but again but not much luck as yet. Anyone had much luck getting this global target to show on the landing page widget?

Hello @AdamShiner@AdamShiner,

To display KPI targets on the SOW landing page in ServiceNow, you need to ensure the target is set and configured correctly within the KPI details. Here's a breakdown:
  1. 1. Set the KPI Target:
Ensure your KPI has a target value set. This can be done through the KPI details UI builder configuration.

  2. 2. Configure KPI Details UI:
Within the KPI details UIB, enable the display of target status badges on the score summary. This is typically found in the KPI Details UIB config.

  3. 3. Check the SOW Landing Page Configuration:
Make sure the SOW landing page is configured to display KPI details in a way that includes the target information. You may need to customize the landing page or create a new variant to achieve the desired layout.

  4. 4. Verify the Indicator Type:
The indicator type should be set correctly. If it's a formula indicator, the target can be specified at a global level.

  5. 5. Test and Iterate:
Test your configuration thoroughly and iterate on the setup to ensure the target displays as expected on the SOW landing page.

Detailed steps:
  • Create or Edit the KPI: Go to the Performance Analytics module, and create or edit your KPI.
  • Set the Target: In the KPI details, define the target value.
  • Configure UI:
    • Go to the KPI Details UIB config.
    • Enable the display of target status badges (if available).
    • Adjust other settings as needed for the target display.
  • Customize SOW Landing Page:
    • If necessary, create a variant of the SOW landing page.
    • Add the relevant KPI details component to the landing page.
    • Configure the KPI details component to display the target.
  • Test and Debug:
    • Review the SOW landing page to see if the target is displayed correctly.
    • If issues arise, check the KPI settings, UI configuration, and SOW landing page configuration.
  • Iterate: Make necessary adjustments and repeat the testing process until the target is displayed as desired.

By following these steps, you can successfully display KPI targets on your ServiceNow SOW landing pages.

Hi Abbas,

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, nothing you have advised has resolved my issue. I don't believe I am asking anything to complex from ServiceNow. I have set a global target for this formula indicator, my expectation would then be if I add this to a KPI which I have done, then the target should show on this SOW landing page widget. No matter where I set this target, I cannot get it to show on the landing page.
