Various issues with Performance Analytics OOTB dashboards

We have recently deployed Performance Analytics in San Diego and have encountered a number of issues with regards to the OOTB dashboards which came from the ITSM and additional content packs. The plugins were activated last night, the historic data collection jobs were completed last night and the first daily data collection jobs ran this morning.

 

The issues are as follows:

  1. Open Incidents Reports - The lists shown within this dashboard all include cancelled incidents. When I edit the widget for Open Incidents List, it takes me to the report PA.Source: Open incidents - List this has the below conditions:
    Data source: PA.Source.Incidents.Open (Incident)
    Data source conditions:Opened on Today OR Opened < 27-10-2022 00:00:00 AND Resolved is empty OR Resolved > 27-10-2022 23:59:59
    When I look at the indicator source Incidents.Open it also includes the condition State IS NOT Cancelled. As a workaround I have had to manually add that condition onto the three reports that are included on the dashboard.

    Is it intentionally including cancelled incidents? Or is this an error with the OOTB dashboard / reports?

  2. Open Problem Age Monitor - This dashboard is showing the same number of problems across all of the age ranges, i.e. 0-1 day: 47, 1-5 days: 47, 6-30 days: 47 etc. looking at the records included, the ages range from opened 6 days ago to opened 20 months ago so I would have expected a distribution of records across the age ranges. Is there an obvious reason for this?

    Same issue with Change within the Process By State tab in Change Premium and Age of Open Changes Monitor.

  3. Problem Management - The Opened problem by priority and New problems by priority just continually show Loading...... but never load any data. Is there any known reason for this?

  4. Knowledge Management - The Knowledge Management dashboard has two tabs (Overview and KPIs) which are blank (no widgets). Is this intentional? Or should there be OOTB widgets included on these tabs?

  5. Open Request State Monitor - Requests that are in a request state of Closed Complete are being included in the record list. Is there a reason for this? As these are not "Open"

  6. Open Requests Reports - The Open Requests Pivot is blank, is this intentional?

  7. Change Management - Widgets on the Change Open tab such as Number of open changes, Open changes by Priority, Open changes by Age and Average age of open changes by Priority are stuck in Loading..... any way to resolve this?
