A report of top 5 Incidents

I have create a monthly Incident report which is grouped by Reference 1 field, and the report shows the count of "category data" in Reference 1 field. For each month I only want to show top 5 count. Is it possible without using scripts?

Hi Amit,

If you switch to new view, you can use trend then set the max number of groups to 10 (minimum selection).

Thanks Diane for you response. If i select Time series then it don't show "Max number of Groups" option. Could this be disabled by the system administrator?

Hi Amit,

You need to select Type = Trend to get the Max Number of groups option and to display your report by Month. Trend by Opened per Month just like on screenshot.

Thanks Diane. I found that option.

What I am trying to do is control the number of items within a group. I don't want to control the number of groups. I think this can't be achieved by an end user until they have access to run scripts.
