Additional settings for data visualization missing, when saved to Library ("Show total value")

Are the Data Visualization settings different within a Dashboard vs. when saved to Library?

 

I have multiple "Donut" data visualizations on my dashboard. Some of these are saved to library, while some are not. 

 

For the ones that are not saved to the Library, I have "Additional settings" available to "Show total value":

But the ones saved to the library don't have that option, or the whole "Additional settings" section isn't available.

Is this a bug? Something wrong with my setup, or how can I show the total value on Donuts that are saved into the data visualizations library?

  • Platform Analytics plugin version: 6.0.16
  • Data Visualizations plugin version: 28.0.25

I have seen such differences. check the "par_dashboard_widget" table. The saved one's will have a stored component column.

I believe I added the JSON in "property" of the widget which was missing, in your case that would be sorting and total show value.
