Hey Devs,
We are looking for the ability to perform calculations directly at the Report / Data Visualization level in ServiceNow.
Currently, many use cases require additional scripting, database views, or workaround logic just to achieve simple calculated insights inside dashboards and reports.
Are there any future plans from ServiceNow to introduce more advanced calculation capabilities within reporting/data visualizations itself?
Features like:
• Calculated fields( This existing, does not give flexibility)
• Formula-based metrics
• Dynamic aggregations
• Custom expressions inside visualizations
would solve many real-world reporting challenges and greatly improve dashboard flexibility.
Would love to hear thoughts from the community or product team on this.
