Hi Community,
Is it possible to have 2 date range filters on the same dashboard, same tab that would work independently but also together?
I initially created a dynamic content element which I managed to make it work for one of the date fields we needed but later on we received another requirement that for the same reports, another filtering is needed based on a different date field so I have tried to replicate the 1st dynamic content but I have been unable to make them work: either the filters don't work at all or they work independently, but only one at a time, so I'd like to understand if this can be done at all or whether they're likely to clash.
I'm working in the classic reporting and Performance Analytics, haven't moved yet to Platform Analytics.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Paula

It is expected to behave as a date field, so it might clash. But if you provide a screenshot, it will be easier to understand the issue.

Hi @PaulaaO
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Let me explain.
Filter 1: Change Plan Date
Filter 2: Change Actual Date
Plan Start Date:
-
CHG1: 7 Mar
-
CHG2: 9 Mar
Actual Start Date:
-
CHG1: 8 Mar
-
CHG2: 10 Mar
Observation:
If you apply Filter 1 or Filter 2 individually, the results will clash or show no results. The same issue occurs in your case.
Recommendation:
To test this better, try it in the list view first. If you still don’t get results there, we can conclude that the filters are conflicting.

Thanks for the suggested test - I just tried it now and it returned the correct results. Does this mean that it's a matter of the code being incorrect in the dynamic content elements? But in principle is something that could be done?
