Dashboard error 'The Dashboard was not found'

I had built a dashboard and shared it with a member a few months ago. Since then we built a new dashboard and I deleted the old dashboard and removed the sharing privileges with that user, however despite that when she logs in, she sees the error message 'Sorry, the dashboard with ID XXXXXXX was not found'. Go to Dashboards Overview. When she  navigates to the new dashboard, things seem to work fine until she logs out and logs in again the next day and the same error pops-up. How do we resolve this?

Is she trying to access the link that you shared with her before of the dashboard that you have since then deleted?  Did she have the older dashboard set up as the first location she goes to when she goes into the Instance?  If that is the case, she will need to update that to the new dashboard.

Did she create a favorite and it is still pointing to the old dashboard?

It really sounds like it just the wrong location that she is accessing by default.

I get the same error; when I go in from a bookmark in Chrome, the dashboard works just fine - but when I exit out of the ticket - which should take me back to the dashboard - I get the error "Sorry the dashboard with ID xxx was not found".  This now seems to happen whenever I navigate into a ticket of any kind (REQ, INC, CHG) from anywhere and then hit the BACK button in the servicenow page.  None of the views I use have been converted to dashboards; so I'm not even sure why it's talking about a Dashboard.

I've updated the documentation for deleting responsive dashboards and editing non-responsive dashboards. Both help files both include a note to inform users that you are deleting a dashboard and that they will see an error when they visit a bookmarked/favorited dash that has been deleted.
