Dashboard - Tab Level Restrictions

Can I restrict the tabs by setting  "Read roles".

The end user still can see the reports in the tabs without data. I don't want to show the tab itself if the end user doesn't have this role.

This is a legacy field for homepages, it has no effect on dashboards.

I was confused with that legacy read/write roles in the portal page, it's not with tab level.
