Has anyone found an easier way to filter the variables? When looking for variables related to a particular catalog task, I have to load everything in order to find all of the variables I need. Is there a way to filter this down more? It is cumbersome and time consuming to do it the way I'm doing it now.

that's how the drill down works for looking catalog variables when you are on sc_task.

No other way as of now.

what's your business requirement?

you can try to create database view if required and then use that in Data visualization.
