I want to display multiple months/years data side by side so it is easy to see how things are tracking this year compared to previous years.
For this example I want to show how many P1 and P2 tickets have been logged for 2019 and also 2020 month by month.
I can certainly do this as a single years data month to month and can do it manually playing around, but would like a live report that can be displayed on a dashboard and/or the Service Portal.
What I'm wanting is something like this:
I'm sure this must be pretty simple when you know how?

Yes, Performance Analytics should be enabled to see that kind of trend reports

Hi,
You can use data sets to do this.

Thank you for that, it gets me half way there.
What it did was add the two graphs / data sets together but it added all of 2019 first followed by 2020 but what I want to have is:
Jan 19 - Jan 20 | Feb 19 - Feb 20 | Mar 19 - Mar 20 | etc . . . . .
So each month of the years can easily be seen and compared.
ideas?

Ok, Traditional reporting will not allow you to achieve TREND report what you are looking for.
you can achieve this with PA.

So you mean only if Performance and Analytics is enabled? Guessing that's what PA is?
