export data from the 'Not viewed in the last 6 months' card from Dashboards

I'm in: now/platform-analytics-workspace/dashboard-library. There are cards for filtering dashboards not viewed in the last 6 and last 3 months. I want to export the data but doesn't seem to be an option for that. I tried using the par_dashboard.list but it does not contain the same fields. for exampe: total_views, last_viewed_on and created_by_user are not there.

does anyone know how to export the data?

Hi Maria,

Thanks for sharing the details. The cards in the Dashboard Library don't read from the par_dashboard table, which is why total_views, last_viewed_on, and created_by_user are missing when you open par_dashboard.list.

What's happening

I checked the network request that fires when you select the Not viewed in the last 6 months card. The data comes from the dashboard_stats table, using this filter:

last_viewed_on<javascript:gs.beginningOfLast6Months()^dashboard_table=par_dashboard

When I ran the same query directly on the dashboard_stats list, it returned the same number of dashboards the card displays. You can export the data from there.

You can use the link below for easy access by just changing the instance name:

https://<instance_name>.service-now.com/dashboard_stats_list.do?sysparm_query=last_viewed_on<javascript:gs.beginningOfLast6Months()^dashboard_table=par_dashboard

Option 1: Export from the list view

  1. In the navigator filter, type dashboard_stats.list and press Enter.
  2. Open the Filter (funnel icon) and set these conditions:
    • Last viewed on is before the beginning of the last 6 months
    • Dashboard table is par_dashboard
  3. Select Run. The results should match what the card shows.
  4. Right-click any column header, hover over Export, and select Excel (.xlsx) or CSV.

Option 2: Create a List data visualization

  1. In Platform Analytics, create a new List data visualization.
  2. Select the dashboard_stats table as the data source and apply the same filter conditions as above.
  3. Add the columns you need, then export the list from the visualization. You can also add it to a dashboard so you can reuse it later.

For the "last 3 months" card

Use the same approach and change the date condition on Last viewed on to the 3-month range.

Hope this helps!
