Global Dashboard - Can we make a dashboard as global

Hi,

We have created a few dashboard, these dashboards are not restricted by any role and visible to everyone, still these are not visible to everyone.

Intention is to make the dashboards as global as available to all, similar to how homepages are made available to everyone.

Can you point me in the correct direction to achieve this.

The only way to dashboards to end users is to add them pa_viewer role.

Dashboards should be shared with that role. 

Might be also needed to have these dashboard in global domain but maybe not necessary.

which version are you on? In Jakarta, all ITIL users can create, view, and share dashboards.

To make a dashboard that you created global (I believe users will still need ITIL to see dashboards)

go to Dashboard administration

* Visible to = everyone

* Domain = global

* Visible by all roles = TRUE

(you may need to modify your view to see all these fields. I think VISIBLE TO is the key field here)

Also, if your users do NOT Have ITIL, they will not be able to view Dashboards. ITIL is needed for PA visibility which includes dashboards.

Hey there,

Were you ever able to figure this out?  I'm using New York, and when sharing dashboards, there is a Public role that I can choose to make the dashboard visible to all users.

Yes using public role the dashboards can be shared to everyone. However, I noticed the reports present in the dashboard doesn't have the drill downs maintained as same for all users.

Has anyone come across this?
