Hi All,
Is it possible to hide the “New Visualization” option within the Add Visualization modal (Add new element → Data Visualization) while editing a PA dashboard using the in‑line editor?

I tested this some way back, and as far as I recall you can add an ACL on the visualization table r.g. Deny unless admin role, which in turn will remove the button.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Hi Anders,
Thank you for your response. I did try adding ACLs but it only affects visualization creation from designer and not visualization creation from dashboard. I will try again and see if I missed any tables.

Hello Akshaya,
Any user with *snc_internal* role gets access to Platform Analytics application, which in-turn grants the access towards Data Visualization. Hence, users would be able to create/add data visualizations.
Since the UI doesn't provide option to show/hide based on any role, hence it may not be feasible to hide the button itself.
Best regards,
Puru.
