Greetings,
Earlier today I was introduced to Interactive Filters for the dashboards. For me, it has a lot of potential. However, I do have one question. How do I set my own date ranges for the interactive date filter? It has a lot of pre-defined options that come close to what I need, but none of them hit the mark.
For example, I see there is a predefined interactive date filter that represents all of the dates for this calendar year. However for me, I need all of the dates for this fiscal year. My fiscal year started April 1st, and not January 1st.
Is there an easy way to select the date range I want?
Thanks,

Is your fiscal year the same for the entire company? May be worth changing that in your instance's "com.glide.fiscal_calendar.fiscal_year_start_month" system property. It won't solve your main ask, but it should serve as a workaround for your use case you mentioned.
As for allowing the user to select a date range, you can refer to this link in the docs which might help: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/london-performance-analytics-and-reporting/page/use/dashboards/ta....
I'll let someone else hopefully answer if your main ask is possible or not.

You can create a custom interactive filter (there is an example here). If you can avoid going custom, I would avoid it.

You may want to look into Report Ranges, which allow you to manually specify your own ranges for date, integer or list fields.
