We are testing in order to migrate to Platform Analytics. There are some items we will need to update when we migrate. How do we make these updates since the migration happens in the Production environment?
This means that we will not be able to immediately push an update set to Production after the migration completes to fix these issues, correct? Is it expectation that we fix anything that's broken directly in Production post migration?

If you have the same dashboards/reports on PROD as on DEV (I know... you don't), you can fix it on DEV and push the update set.
But you are right: any other fixes will have to be done on PROD after the migration. Best thing to do is to check on non prod for the most used dashboards/reports, so you can fix those first.
Or use the migration tool on PROD to go through the most important dashboards one by one, so you don't bother users too much and do the full migration once these are done and use the 'peep' system: fix when someone yells about it.
PAE is great, but not how the deployment/(forced) migration is handled. Especially with all the bugs that are still in it.

yeah, even I am facing challenge. there are more than 250 such dashboard and reports those have not migrated properly and ServiceNow says we will have to fix each of them manually. it is very difficult and time consuming. Fixing 250 such reports and dashboard may take months. i dont know why ServiceNow didn't anticipated this and have not had any mitigation plan.
