How to show hourly live trend using Performance Analytics?

I want to show the live trend of all the major incident hourly instead of daily for last 24 hours in performance analytics. As we can select *per option in standard reporting to show data in hourly or daily etc. I can not find any way to display the data in hours.

The attached snapshot is the sample which is created using the standard reporting. I just want make the same report using PA. I have tried the bucket group oh Hours of the Day, but its not fulfilling my requirement.

Any help is appreciated in advance.

I realize  this post is a year old, but has anyone found a way to achieve this? I have not done custom visualization and would like to see how this could be accomplished

Hello

We don't do daily collections. Instead, if you want to see hourly data, you can set up a breakdown with 24 buckets (1 for every hour) and populate these with the number if incidents (or anything else) based on the time of creation (for new incidents), closure (for closed), etc. The indicator will provide trend information per hour of the day, whereas the data will still be collected on a daily basis.

And as we are talking about trends here, the current intra daily trend is not that interesting as the day has not finished yet. If you'd like to see whats going on today, add a report gauge or a gadget that will show you the current state of affairs.
