I can't identify the source of +9k PC records being created

Hi there,
I'm facing an issue where we have more than 9K PC records being created in the alm_hardware table, with Model Category as Personal Computer with empty Serial Number and other important values.
I've checked the History Calendar and List, but all it does it tell me that it was Created By "system".
Any ideas on how to investigate that?

How are those created? Do they have a consistent created on time? Like all being created at 10:00:00 - 10:00:10 or are they completely random?
If they're random, they would most likely be part of some other process that a user triggers but the session changes to system at some point. A workflow for example.
If they are consistent, there might be a scheduled job doing some checks and creating them.
You should check the logs around the create times to see if there's other indications on what is running at the same time.

I've checked the time, and it is consistent, they are being created on a daily basis.
