Good morning all,

we would like to add a "between dates" interactive filter to an home page.

Like in list filtering:

Do you know if it's feasible and how?

Thanks

I have tried this Custom Interactive Filter and is working fine.

I made another custom interactive filter with the same logic but different field/column.

So, i have 2 custom interactive filters now.. but they are acting as separate and not linking with each other.

If i pick a date, the reports are working fine but when i pick from the other custom interactive filter with the date on it, it is not following the date.

It's like only 1 of them is working.

How to make them work together?

Thanks.

It will be hard to let them interact, because you will need to make the filters interact with each other to provide the query to apply to the reports.

My suggestion, since you have no choice and need to migrate anyway: create your dashboard in Platform Analytics now. The discussed filter is OOB there and I don't know what your second filter is about, but maybe it also already exists there.

Thanks!

Move to Platform Analytics. This is a thread from 2016 (!) and the platform has undergone lots and lots of updates and upgrades. Within a couple of versions (Australia/Brazil(?)) Platform Analytics will be the only way to report and create dashboards. Your custom created filter won't work anymore after that AND you have an OOB solution at this moment on the new dashboards. Don't create custom solutions that don't even work, when you know that, even if you get it to work, it will break foregood within 2 upgrades.

Hi mania,

In the following post, I share the fixed update set from Pieter to have a date range filter in dashboards:
