Hi,
I'm an intern for an IT company and they have giving me the task to investigate the possibility to display data from a REST API (JSON) on a dashboard.
Has anyone tried to do this?
I tried getting data from a REST API(Outbound Rest Message) and making a dashboard, only problem is connect these 2.
Thanks
Soufiane

Hi Chuck,
Just quick question to understand , can we display the external system folder structure in service catalog ? As a variable we need to allow users to select the specific folder (real time).
Thanks in advance.

The only time I've ever seen any system (via browser) browse the local files system is when picking a file to upload, but that information is not stored when the file is uploaded.

I think i was wrong. I wanted to understand is it possible to have an connection with any external system to just display the real time data in service-now ? (Apart from JDBC connections to pull the information). We dont need to store the information in service-now all the time.

Not at this time although it is on the roadmap. Look for more information later this year.
