Migrating a Dashboard

Hello there -

I am using Istanbul.

How would I export a Dashboard and all its report dependencies?

I have admin access.  

I see these options, but can't get them to work.  

Export > XML

Export > Export Set.

In my test, after using Export > XML, the Import option imported the file I produced from Export > XML but only the Tab was brought over.

Hi Hugo,

You can add the dashboard to an update set by going to Homepage Admin > Pages. Right-click the item in the list which you want to add and click Unload Portal Page. Now the page is completely added to your update set and you can move that as you wish.

I recommend you read the documentation on this:   Move a dashboard with an update set

This won't pull all dependencies, just the dashboard parts that don't normally go into an update set.
