Number of open Incidents at end of week/month

I have an PA indicator (number of open incidents) which is collected daily.

I have to present a graph (PA widget) to show the number of open incidents at the end of the week (or end of month).

Can a (new) time series establish it or do I have to create new indicators?

Any other suggestions would also be helpful.

For a backlog indicator like this one, you need a separate indicator per time period.

You can create two reports. One by month and other by week.

Reports can't give you what was open at that time only the number opened or closed that week.  For a backlog number, you need Performance Analytics.
