Performance/Platform Analytics - Chart Grouped by IT leader and Stacked by Patch Status - HELP!!

Hey there,

I'm on the Vancouver release of ServiceNow and I'm a Performance Analytics Admin. I need help with a specific issue. I'm trying to create a report similar to the one I’ve attached, which uses two breakdowns/group bys. I need to achieve this in either Performance Analytics or Platform Analytics, preferably in Performance Analytics.

Here’s the situation: I was asked to implement some custom logic for grouping and custom labels, which I accomplished using a breakdown script. It all functions great, but I can’t find any widget or method in Performance Analytics to create a bar chart (or any chart besides a pivot table) that displays data by IT leader and further groups it by Patch Status. Essentially, I need to show data by two levels.

I have enabled the collect breakdown matrix and tried adding it into the "2nd breakdown" box, but it doesn’t function correctly. Can you help me find a way to achieve this? I even checked Platform analytics and I don't even see an option to do this either. Really frustrating!! I really don't want to use a pivot table because I can't use custom colors for labels in a pivot table and I can't use a filter if i want to only show one name.  Side note, I removed names with black-out for privacy sake.

Please see this post by @Thomas_Davis which talkes about the same: https://www.servicenow.com/community/platform-analytics-forum/multiple-breakdown-sources-on-dashboar.... As mentioned in the post "you would be able to select multiple breakdown sources on the Analytics Hub.  If you wanted to do it at the Widget level, you would need to make sure that it is a specific type of widget.  You can only select one breakdown source on a dashboard at a time.  You can select multiple elements of that breakdown source, but again only one breakdown source at a time.".

Hi there, I'm not sure I follow. I don't think what is being described is what I need. I have collect breakdown matrix on, i can go into the hub and click on the It leader then click on the secondary breakdown of patch status and see it but that is not really great to be having a lead team view, so i wanted to use two breakdowns in one widget displaying both at the same time, it seems to be its not "technically" possible and should be added into some kind of enhancement. It seems odd you would assume it wouldn't be very difficult to add in, it would literally just be a box that say stack by on column chart , you put one breakdown in that and another breakdown in group by.
