Platform analytics - Filter dropdown (apply to all)

Hi,

I've created a filter dropdown to filter by assignment groups that start with "Cloud -". However, the "Total Open" report and the others are not applying this filter and instead display tickets from all assignment groups in the system. When I filter by a single group, the report works correctly.

I would like the entire dashboard to default to filtering on these 10 groups, without having to manually use a multi-select dropdown and choose all 10 groups as default values. Is there a way to achieve this?

I wonder if the report of total tickets needs to follow that breakdown on your filter.

It looks like you just filter the list of available filter options in dashboards filter (by setting "configure filter values" in filter configuration). This is just configuration which will limit visible filter option but it is not applying any filter to data visualisations. You need to actually select some value in the filter for it to apply to data viz.

 

If you want your dashboard by default to be filtered to assignment group that start with cloud, you would need to apply this filter in the data source selection of each data source (if you data based on table data source type (simple reports) - you should be able to do it.
