We need to assess which roles are being used by RHDS because we are planning to decommission the service and need to identify the dependencies.

Please supply a report of service requests for the RHDS service over the last 12 months.

a spreadsheet would be good with each request being a line item showing brief description of the request and which role was affected. This is the most important part because we need to know how many requests against a role to see if it is active. See screenshots for clarity. Any queries please let us know. Thanks.

Hi @vidyajadhav

Since your organization tracks this infrastructure in ServiceNow, generate a Service Request report to trace previous dependencies and user tickets over the last 12 months:

  1. Log in to your internal ServiceNow Instance and navigate to the Reports > View / Run module.
  2. Select Create New Report.
  3. Set the Source to the sc_req_item (Requested Item) table.
  4. Set the Filter conditions as follows:
    • [Short Description] [contains] RHDS
    • OR [Configuration Item] [is] Red Hat Directory Server
    • OR [Assignment group] [is] [Your Team Name]
    • AND [Created] [is on or after] 12 months ago
  5. Group the results by [Requested For] or [Caller] to identify heavy users, and click Run.

Please Accept the solution if it assisted you with your question & Mark this response as Helpful.
