Reporting on Averages & Counts together

I am trying to run various types of reports that include some average of data, then a count of how many records that average was pulled from. This seems like a simple task in any other reporting tool, but I can't figure that out in SN.

Example:

I'd love if that right column said "Count" or something similar, then showed how many records the 65 day average represents. How can this be achieved?

Maybe you can add 2 reports side by side in a dashboard, one for duration and one for count...

Do you have access to Performance Analytics?   a Pivot Scorecard widget would work well here.

This to me is a big weekness of reporting inside of servicenow in terms of what my customers ask for.  To be able to show an average and label it as a count would even be nice.  Ive tried an multi dataset in a report but it will not stick to the top 20 elements on the base report.  The scaling becomes way off and becomes unusable.  Putting a chart next to it is not good either because the top 20 elements averaged will more than likely not be the top 20 elements in terms of count.  Oh and good luck trying to get this in PA if you doing a comparison based on different breakdown elements
