In the spirit of being micro managed - Jan 1 I took over an existing ticket queue. Today is February 27. I am being asked to provide:
1. How many open/active tickets were in the ticket queue on January 1st.
2. How many tickets were closed Jan 1 through January 31.
3. How many open/active tickets were there in the queue on Jan 31 @ 11:59pm cst
First question - Is it possible to show number one above in a single score report if so how.
Second question - How can I create 1,2, and 3 on the same report that runs immediately on the first day of every month.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

Hi @EricT9394 ,
According to your requirement, it very much sounds like you need performance analytics for daily snapshots and sum by month. Do you have performance analytics available in your instance?
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

We do have Performance Analytics in our instance. I am still not sure exactly how to create the snapshot and sum by month. Would you be able to assist with that Anders?

Hi @EricT9394
1. How many open/active tickets were in the ticket queue on January 1st.
Answer: Here you need to create a monthly data collection (automated indicator and indicator source) to capture the count of open tickets when month shift.
2. How many tickets were closed Jan 1 through January 31.

Answer: isn't this the same as option 1?

Our environment is completely locked down so to speak - the SN team just recently decided to turn the Visual task boards back on but only one is available. So Yes we do have PA , I will research performance analytics and try to find how to get a daily snapshot and sum by month if its possible.
