ServiceNow Resolved on Last Week Report includes which days?

Using today's date (July 13, 2016) as an example, when I run the following reports I am getting a different number of incidents (count) reported:

VERSUS

It is likely that I need to change the secondary (at or after) option to another value. However, when I select "Resolved/Closed ON" or "Resolved/Closed AFTER", I am still receiving a different count when compared to using the hard date selections in my first search.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for any guidance.

Was able to track down a ServiceNow guru, and his thoughts were that using "Last Week" implied the last business week (July 3rd - July 9th), versus the actual last 7 days (July 7th - July 13th) of incidents. When I ran that report against a hardcoded version of the same thing, I got the same number of incidents in my report...shew.

Thanks for replying Deepa.
