I am new to Service Now and trying to explore using a developer instance. I am trying to set up Performance Analytics on my Developer instance, but I am hardly getting any data for my scorecards (some data in Average age open incidents and Summed age of open incidents)
I didn't change any of the breakdowns or sources, and I ran a historical data collection- first for past 60 days, past 365 days , and then the month of February 2017. I got warnings for the 365 days ago and February 2017 run, but despite all of these- the scorecards look relatively empty.
There is data in the development environment (whatever I was given), can you please help me figure out why my scorecards are pretty empty?

There's basically nothing in my developer instance record-wise (51 Incidents, and I think I created one of those - and they're all created at the same time). I just don't think you're going to see much of anything in a Developer instance unless you import a chunk of data from another instance.

Thank you for the reply! What are the steps to import a chunk of data from another instance?

It would be easier to mess with PA on a sub-production instance honestly (you're incredibly unlikely to break anything by doing so).
Otherwise you're going to need to determine what data you want to export from an instance, and then get into importing and transforming that data to move it to your Dev env. Even if you did that, you run the risk of having issues due to Business Rules and whatever else. Like I said if you can do PA in a sub-prod instance, go that route - you'll be much better off in the end.

Okay thank you- do you have any knowledge about using the app called Data Generator to load in extra data? The problem is that I don't have access to our production instance, so I want to do as much learning in my own personal development instance as possible. Thanks for the help!
