Tab name changes

I have experienced some  issues with tabs on a dashboard.

1) When creating a new tab on a new dashboard it gets  a random name (maybe related to a name on a dashboard that recently has been created)

2) If I have renamed the tabs in a dashboard, sometimes the names of the tabs changes. It appears as if it has something to do with the language, but it is not consistent. Sometimes when I have Swedish set in language settings the tab name changes when reloading the page or changing language to English. And sometimes not...

Anyone who experienced anything like this or have any ideas of what might trigger this and how I can avoid it?

I have noticed that the tab name changes whenever the tab loses focus to another tab looking at the same instance. It would seem that ServiceNow is clobbering the tab name we set with the string "ServiceNow " plus the contents of the Page Header Caption field.

This is a translation Issue and appears when users create tabs with a foreign language selected, Swedish in my case. By default the tabs are named New Tab 1, New Tab 2 etc, both in English and Swedish. When a user renames a tab, (still with Swedish as selected language), ServiceNow seems to create a translation rather than a specific name. So when New Tab 3 is renamed to something all New Tab 3 tabs get the new name. Switching to English the name is still New Tab 3. If the renaming is done with English as selected language it works just fine.



I'm on my way to create a Hi ticket for this.

B. Update your tab
