User unable to edit the report even after sharing with the individual

Hello Team,

I have report on my dashboard, I gave "Can edit" access to a user, also I shared the report with the user but still the user is unable to edit the report( there is no edit option(pencil button) is not available when the user tried to edit the dashboard.

The user has report group role.

Please let me know if I am missing anything.

Hi msm,

Yes you are right. For given report_group role user can only see it. For editing you should have given some permission for that dashboard to edit and that role should be given to the users with whom you shared your report/dashboard that's what I was also telling in my previous answers.
