Filter Sets are an important capability of the Process Mining Analyst Workbench that might not be worthy of an entire Process Mining Academy session but definitely deserve a Community post to raise awareness.
Any sort of analysis you’re doing is like having a conversation with your process data – you ask the process data a question it gives you an answer based on that answer you ask it a follow up question and on and on this goes until you get to a place where you have some form of actionable insight.
As you’re having these conversations with the data there might be a certain line of questioning that you want to bookmark, save for later use, or consistently comeback to every time you refresh the data behind in the Process Mining model. These are what filter sets are for.
This short demo video will walk you through how to create filter sets and a very common way to use them.
There are many other types of analysis you can use Process Mining for you can find those here
