Hi @Ritu_Chaudhary,

Try these steps to get your Visual Task Board (VTB) set up and organized:

1. Create your board

  • Go to Self-Service > Visual Task Boards.
  • Create a Freeform Board and save it as “Incidents by State”.
  • Add two lanes: On Hold and In Progress.

  2. Go to My Incidents

  • From your favorites, open My Incidents so you see all the incidents assigned to you.

3. Pick the On Hold incidents

  • Check the incidents in “On Hold” State.
  • From the list header, choose Actions on selected rows → Add to Visual Task Board.
  • Add them to the VTB you’re working in (or create a new one).

 4. Move them into the On Hold Lane

  • Open your VTB.
  • Drag those 2 cards into the On Hold lane.

 5. Go back to My Incidents and Filter out the On Hold ones

  • Open your list view again.
  • Apply a filter like State is not On Hold so you only see the other incidents.

 6. Add the rest into In Progress

  • Use Select All to grab everything in the filtered list.
  • Choose Actions on selected rows → Add to Visual Task Board again.
  • In your VTB, move those cards into the In Progress Lane.

As a tip, you may also want to explore using a Data-Driven Board, it can automatically organize incidents by fields such as State, Assignment Group, or Priority, which makes managing your work much faster and easier than manually arranging cards.
