Hello Communities,

I've been going through the Developer Passbook: Brazil Release session on the ServiceNow Dev Program Youtube Channel and wanted to share those information here.

Note: If I have missed any points or if any changes are required in this content, please let me know, and I will make the necessary corrections.

1. Now SDK & Fluent

now-sdk cicd pipeline: Inbuild CI/CD pipeline for ServiceNow SDK to have seamless app repository operations like install, publish, rollback and automation testing.
now-sdk query: executing queries directly in instance table.
now-sdk explain: Provides on demand SDK documentation to enable AI development Integration and deployment
New APIs introduced for Fluent include Agents, RestMessage, RetryPolicy, DataLookup, CredentialAlias, AliasTemplate, Dashboard, TestingLibrary (UI Testing) and playbook.
We can easily declare the record deletion by using Now.del() function.

2. Autonomous Engineer: End to End Implementation which includes development and testing. Developers/Engineers can review the work and ready to deploy. If the ATF tests fails, self-heal it and perform the ATF test again.
3. AI Agent Studio: Redesigned AI Agent Studio and make the UI simple and Unified Navigation. There is an option to switch from new UI to Legacy UI in AI Agent Studio. This new UI helps to perform faster to develop & implement AI agent. This new AI Agent studio UI helps to control AI Agent Version like whether the changes can be updated in existing version or consider as a new version. It also helps identify if a similar AI Agent already exists before creating a new one.
4. Automated Testing with Test Agent: Test Agent brings automated testing into the development flow. It generates ATF tests from a prompt, run test, debug the issue and self heal the issue and auto update based on the test results.
5. Playbooks:

Conversational Playbooks: Make the playbook experience through Natural Language Conversation.
Playbooks as MCP: Playbooks helps to connect with MCP Tool to improve the AI Agent performance.
Agentic Playbooks: Embed AI Agent directly into playbooks.

6. Build Agent: Creates Custom Rules & skills based on the organization standards, Background scripts and playbook generation.
7. Intelligent Approval: Convert Document into policy to define the approval with the help of GenAI document convertor, based on the different scenarios it perform auto approval or human approval required and escalate if required. It also helps to refine the existing approval policy as well.
8. Flow Designer: With the help of ServiceNow Otto, we can troubleshoot the flow and guide to fix it. Also, Input Modification can perform to troubleshoot the issue, reproduce the issue and debug it.
9. Developer Sandbox:

AEMC Dashboard: App Engine Management Center Dashboard is a centralized interface located on production instance used to managing Developer Sandbox
Update Set Sync: Helps to sync between sandbox and base instance in Bi-directional

10. Experiences: ServiceNow introduce new UI Framework known as LUX which is built on Lit JS (Light weight JavaScript develop by Google) for interactive modern UI Experience.
11. ServiceNow Studio: Features a Native Vibe-Coding mode, shortcut for opening ServiceNow Studio from any record or component by right click and Source Control V2 helps to enhanced integration for source-controlled development.
