External User Self registration log in details

Could you please guide me on where to change the settings in the admin panel so that users who have self-registered receive their login details via SMS instead of email? I'm looking for the specific location or steps needed to configure this option.

Then you need to check on your own customization. OOB ServiceNow is setup to use email addresses, but looking at your other question, you are setting up phone numbers. The 'why' hasn't been made clear, so why not just use the process of which you are sure it doesn't break on an upgrade?
