Hi,
I have requested multiple instances. Every instance of mine goes into maintenance and does not active again. Since its PDI, not able to raise a ticket. Can someone help me on this to avoid losing my work in my PDI?

Hi @Vasishta2
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to back up your current data since the PDIs will no longer be maintained. It’s best to create a new one and remember to back up your data regularly moving forward.
Thanks and Regards

@Vasishta2 How frequently do you use your PDIs? I have been using PDIs for long time and during the span of 5 years, managed to keep one active for more than 2 years. Key is to use the PDIs frequently.
Since PDIs are not supported by ServiceNow, there is no way you can recover your lost data. However, you can try to minimise the Data loss by either capturing your configuration in Update sets and taking frequent backups of those update sets or by using custom application scopes to build your application and connecting your application to a source code repository like GitHub. This way you will be able to keep the backup of your data.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Vasishta2 ,
As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you're limited to two options:
- Wait - it should come online after some time
- Release your instance and request a fresh installation. Please notice, that all work that hasn't been backed up will be lost. There is no possibility to restore anything from old PDI.
