Reaching out to ask when we are likely to know the rough timetable for the 2026 general releases? Is the cadence of general releases moving out next year? We are in the process of high level planning for 2026, and need to start considering the impact a change in cadence may have on the organization business planning.
Many thanks

Hi @Laurie29 ,
Here's what we know about ServiceNow's general release cadence and when you can expect information for 2026:
Consistent Cadence: ServiceNow has consistently released two major platform versions per year. This cadence has been maintained for quite some time, and there's no indication that it's moving out for 2026. The releases are typically named after global cities in alphabetical order.
Current and Upcoming Releases:
Yokohama was the Q1 2025 release.
Zurich is the next expected release, scheduled for Q4 2025.
2026 Release Announcements: While specific names and exact dates for 2026 releases are not typically announced years in advance, ServiceNow generally plans release dates up to three years ahead and notifies clients on the exact release dates upfront.
You can stay tuned to Early Availability (EA) / Release Testing Preview (RTP) Programs, Official Announcements,Knowledge Event.
Impact on Business Planning:
High-level business planning with the expectation of two major platform upgrades.
Staying Current: ServiceNow officially supports only the latest release (N) and the immediately previous release (N-1).
Early Engagement: Encourage your banking client to participate in the Release Testing Preview (RTP) and Early Availability (EA) programs for 2026 releases as soon as they are announced.
Monitoring Official Channels: Keep a close eye on official ServiceNow communications, including:
The ServiceNow Community forums (where you can often find early discussions and insights).
ServiceNow product documentation and release notes.
Announcements on the ServiceNow website and through your account team.
Thanks,
Bhimashankar H

This answer is so obviously cut-and-pasted from ChatGPT. It also contains inaccuracies.
