Releases and Upgrades Schedule 2026

Reaching out to ask when we are likely to know the rough timetable for the 2026 general releases? Is the cadence of general releases moving out next year? We are in the process of high level planning for 2026, and need to start considering the impact a change in cadence may have on the organization business planning.

Thank you for sharing the highlights — really helpful. Based on what you mentioned, it seems likely that the Brazil GA might land sometime in December.

How confident are we that Brazil will not be targeted for a September GA this year? And do we have any formal confirmation or an official release calendar published by ServiceNow that supports this timeline? This will help all customers to plan their upgrades and leaves in a better manner.

ServiceNow rarely releases any dates upfront, simply because anything can happen. Brazil GA will probably not land in December. With currently rumors going around that Australia will be released in the first week of May, I think we can assume Brazil will be in the first week of November. 

Looking at Zurich, you may want to wait for a couple of hotfixes before you really upgrade, because it was a very buggy release. Almost as if AI was playing a part in it instead of just human common sense.
