I tried to rename the VTB, but I couldn't

Hi Mussie,

There are usually two reasons why you might be unable to rename a Visual Task Board (VTB):

1. How to rename (The UI Method) To rename a board, you simply need to click directly on the Board Name in the top header of the VTB.

  • When you click the text, it should turn into an editable text box.

  • Type the new name and press Enter (or click away) to save.

2. The Permission Issue (Most Likely) If you click the name and nothing happens (it doesn't become editable), it means you are not the Owner of the board.

  • Only the user listed in the "Owner" field has permission to rename the board or change its configuration.

  • Even if you can edit the tasks inside the board, you cannot change the board's title unless ownership is transferred to you.

Check the Owner: Click the "i" (Information) icon on the right side of the header to see who the current Owner is.

If I got your question correctly and if you want to rename your VTB then navigate to vtb_board open record and change the name.
