SOW: Remove 'My Work' functionality on the landing page and show default 'My Teams Work'

Hello Everyone,

We have a requirement in Service Operations Workspace, our client wants to disable the functionality of 'My Work' and remove 'My Work' from the drop-down in the Overview section of the landing page. Adding the image below, Please let me know if anyone has worked on it or has ideas on achieving this—many thanks for considering my request.

That's something I'd dive WAY deeper on with the requestor.
What are they trying to accomplish by removing an easy way to access one's own work for Service Operations?
