Unable to add a report to a dashboard from the "Add to Dashboard" option, xanadu version

Hi, 

I'm unable to add a report to a dashboard from the edit view of the report via "Add to Dashboard" option, I'm able to add it from the dashboard directly though, I'm using xanadu version, bearing in mind that I have both report admin and dashboard admin roles, also, I'm the owner of the report and the dashboard, they're on the Global scope, something is different between classic dashboards and Platform Analytics dashboards I cannot figure out, can someone help me understand this and overcome it, please?

that makes perfect sense to me I thought this is exactly the case.

any guidance you could suggest on how can I migrate the classic elements to Platform Analytics elements?
