When i discover duplicate CIs we move them to Retired. Discovery is changing the back to installed

Hi All, When i discover CI i move them to Retired. Discovery is changing the back to installed. Can anyone suggest please how to fix this? Thank you.

Hi Tylerj

Sounds like you will need to check if these CI are actually valid duplicates in every sense of the word.

If discovery persists in updating the CI record then it means the infrastructure is still active on the network.

I would also suggest using duplicate remediation instead of simply retiring duplicated CI
