What You'll Find on the Documentation Site
The data model documentation is organized to give you both a high-level view and solution-specific detail.
Logical Data Model Diagrams
The documentation includes a logical data model diagram for PSDS Core, which illustrates the foundational entities and relationships shared across all PSDS solutions—constituents, businesses, agencies, case types, and agency services.
In addition, there are separate diagrams for each major PSDS solution, including:
- Grants Management
- License and Permit
- Social Benefits
- Information Requests
- Service Requests
- Investigative Case Management
Each solution-specific diagram shows how that solution's entities extend and connect back to the PSDS Core data model. This makes it easier to understand the scope of a given solution and how it fits within the broader architecture.
Table Descriptions
Alongside the diagrams, a separate topic provides descriptions of each table in the data model—covering the purpose of the table, its key fields, and how it relates to other entities. This is a helpful reference when configuring case types, building custom workflows, or extending the data model to meet agency-specific requirements.
