Follow these high-level steps to install and configure RSM and RO for retail location support use cases.
Note: As of the Xanadu release, installing RSM and RO entails installing the same plugins. Additional customer service use cases are supported with RSM, which requires installing additional plugins.
- Request the Retail Operations Core app from the ServiceNow app store, as well as its dependencies.
- Activate Retail Operations Core
- Create users and assign retail roles
- Configure the retail data model to reflect your organizational hierarchy:
- Set up the retail support team
- Configure retail case management
- Configure Business Location Support Portal
- Set up omnichannel communication options for the retail organization
