Greetings!
We are a new to ServiceNow and at the beginning stages. Wanted to find out if there are any other state departments who are willing to share how they setup their catalogs and share any templates. We are excited to be on this journey and there are so many things to think about and can be overwhelming at times.
Any way you can share your stories, templates, successes, lessons learned, etc.?
Thank you in advance!
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
Welcome to ServiceNow and the Sacramento ServiceNow User Group (SNUG). I'm looking forward to reading how other private and public sector organizations in Sacramento have setup their catalogs. If you haven't see it already, the Customer Success Center has published a great white paper on this topic called "Design a world-class Service Catalog". The white paper provides an example category structure and lots of insight and tips for designing your own.
Example:

Thanks for the response. This is somewhat helpful, but I am hoping to connect with other state departments so I can connect with them to get more information on how they specifically built their categories.

Hi. I am in the same boat as you. We are developing our Service Now ITSM. We are currently using Footprints. We kept our categories basic for this first phase of implementation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
