I recently finished the SAM simulator and teammates who were unable to finish frequently reached out to me for help. So, I wrote a step-by-step guide to assist the SAM simulator in the hopes of helping others who might be having trouble navigating the platform.
Instructions:
Grant the sam_admin role to the admin user account which is being used to complete the simulator tasks.
- Application Filter>System Security> Users

@NqobileN @abhilashsg Go into the Order Line, change 21 to 19, change Adobe Systems InDesign CC 2017 to Adobe Systems InDesign CC, change license metric to User Subscription. Validation checks for values from previous simulator, not instructions from https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/learning-course?id=learning_course&course_id=c655799d97...

@TitoD I went through that too. Make sure you are using the correct table. Either cmdb_sam_sw_usage (wrong) or sam_sw_usage (correct). They both have the same label
